GARDEN POD - THE HERITAGE

Garden Studio Pod — Light Gauge Steel Frame Construction

This garden studio pod showcases what's possible when precision light gauge steel framing meets thoughtful design. Built on a fully galvanised cold-formed steel skeleton — engineered for strength, longevity, and dimensional accuracy — the structure delivers a permanent, weatherproof usable space without the limitations of timber.

The steel frame is fabricated from hot-dip galvanised cold-rolled sections, complete with diagonal bracing, roof trusses, and a fully integrated base frame. Every panel is pre-engineered for exact fit, reducing on-site build time significantly. The finished structure sits on adjustable steel feet, keeping the floor system off ground level and eliminating the risk of moisture ingress.

Externally, the pod is clad in a ribbed composite panel system finished in sage grey, complemented by anthracite black trims, fascias, and corner posts. The standing seam metal roof adds a clean, contemporary profile while providing excellent water shedding performance. Large aluminium-framed French doors and fixed glazed windows flood the interior with natural light, making the space ideal for use as a home office, gym, studio, or additional living room.
